Happy birthday to me

hildy89So another birthday has come and gone. Whoopee-doo-doo. You can tell I'm totally enthused about turning... one year older. I celebrated by going shopping for needlework stash. I found the new "Legends of the Spellcasters" leaflet with magic users designed by Teresa Wentzler, Karen Weaver, and Jennifer Aikman-Smith, a companion piece of a sort to "Legends of the Dragons". I don't know when I'll actually get a chance to work on the piece. I spent the weekend organizing the stash and felt depressed thinking of all the undone stitching projects.
I caught the Witchblade season finale which was confusing and anti-climatic, but then after you've restarted the universe, how can you top that? I missed the second Conchobar episode and even missed taping it on the repeat during the marathon. Darn it.
