They imploded the old Capital Centre today. No one told me. I could have mourned the old building properly. It was a ruin of its old self and let's face it, it wasn't the prettiest building in the first place, but it's the principle of the thing. I attended many skating events at that arena, even the occasional hockey game. Oh well, I guess it was inevitable.
