GIP... I hope
Mar. 10th, 2003 11:00 pmThank you
normadesmond for the screen capture from Hilary's turn at burlesque as an alternate WENN icon. Something about the dress reminded me of Jessica Rabbit's song... now I just hope LJ accepts the icon. I've been trying to use it in comments and it always seems to revert back to the default one.
Writing update: The 500 words a day is going smoothly so far, mostly due to a washed up girl rocker character who popped up during one writing exercise. She's turning into a younger Bonnie Riatt. I still need to force myself to work on the rewrite and critique.
Life is unfortunately not so good. I'm still waiting to hear something positive from Telesec. Everytime I call them they have all these nice positions coming in, but nothing seems to fit me!
And it's March! I really need to pay more attention to the calendar. I need to see if there's a weekend available to see the Woodlawn needlework show this time around. I'm not sure whether I should attempt it, given the walking involved, but last year they had very few entries, so maybe I'll get lucky and there won't be much on the second level. I also go to Worlds at MCI Center at the end of the month for the mens and ladies finals. Even with the war threatening, figure skating still goes on.
