The laptop will be here Monday. I still don't quite understand why the surge supressor will come today by Airborne Express, but I presume it has something to do with the shipping options. I dislike having to take the extra day off, but hopefully I can kill a few errands at the same time. Theoretically the new desktop may be set up on Sunday with intents to switch to Comcast after that. I hate giving the cable company more money, but I'm also tired of dialup, especially when there are so many more options these days.
CVS was a WorldCon wrapup meeting. Two of members came back filled with writing zest and inspiration (and whatever bug they picked up). Lots of tips and handouts, including some good advice of doing research. I really want to go to Boston the next time around, if I can afford it. normadesmond in her more or less native habitat. I also need to start contemplating Nano again. My CVS goal is to find the Grand Idea. My trip to Victoria yielded the background stuff for "Trial by Light". Baltimore wants me to write about clipper ships and privateers.
