Nanowrimo and laptops

The day is young, but Nanowrimo has opened its forum doors. Actual signups will start later in the day. I expect I'll hear much hang wringing and pleas of "But it's only 2K a day" echoing through the land. I'm not as fond of their new t-shirt designs. However, I do notice the interesting possibility for me called the "laptop library". Their description of a laptop which functions purely for word processing purposes sounds exactly like old Toshi. I may email them to see if he fits the bill. Maybe I can find a different word processing program, but not many work on Windows 3.1 these days.
