My father is a vidder

Sometimes even my father astounds me with his geekiness. He had mentioned in a recent email that he had bought a DVD recorder, along with plans to buy a better VCR. I thought simply that he was condensing his collections of NASA and history tapes. Sorta. He is also apparently creating what Media West judging would call a "constructed reality" vid. Apparently someone on the soc.history.what-if newsgroup suggested an elaborate battle plan and Dad decided this could be cobbled together from some old history sources. So as he put it, he is showing J-Men Forever in a battle that never happen using old WWII movies.

Then again, after listening to several vidding tapes once, my mother offered up several songs for vidding ideas, all Buffy oriented. For those interested, I include them here:
