Torture by red pen

I sucked up my courage and submitted a story to CVS for critique today. I finally opted to rewrite "White Out", my first story from the Gotham SF writing class. The rewrite happen very quickly, so obviously there is that much more room for error. Ah, well, the editors in our group will be delighted to be given free reign. I don't mind the line edits really. I dread them, but they're useful for catching stuff. I'll be interested to see how this version goes over, since I changed some crucial parts. At least there's a nice week of anticipation in between submitting and critiquing. Plenty of time to panic yet right?
