Cherry Blossoms

I'm reading the schedule for the Cherry Blossom festival here in DC which I've never attended. The hoshinos won't start blooming until next week. The new luxury hotel, Mandarin Oriental, is hosting several cool ongoing events on Japanese textiles and kimonos. Freer and Sackler Galleries are holding an anime marathon on Saturday April 3rd, along with their usual array of exhibitions.

Firefly Personality quiz or "No touching guns!"

Fireflyfans.net has a shiny new Firefly Personality Quiz. I wound up Jayne somehow, arguably my least favorite character in the series. I even said no to firearms. I guess it was my winning personality... and well saying I'd go down fighting. (The Lonejack people will stop snickering. Different Jayne... same tendency to shoot from the hip though.)
