Firefly commentaries

Searching for inspiration for the fic, I watched the commentaries for three of the "Firefly" episodes. Watching the DVDs on my laptop was different. Alan and Jewel were hilarious on the "Message" track with anecdotes from the last day of shooting, including the "Straw or No Straw?" debate or the missing red button from the bridge. They also put a vidding idea in my head, referring to "Ariel" as the "A-Team" episode of the series, so I have the damn theme song stuck in my brain. Doesn't Jayne even smoke a cigar? So glad I don't know how to capture video or anything. I also will never say Bobba Fett correctly without thinking of Tim Minnear's flub. Bahbah Fett indeed!

Lost Rudolf Valentino movie found: The WENN fan in me was vastly amused by this discovery of a lost Rudolf Valentino-Gloria Swanson silent movie Beyond the Rocks in the Netherlands. The 1922 movie was largely undamaged except for two minutes of footage.
