So I finally purchased the "standard" version of Dragon Naturally and tried the install. I was fine until I had to plug in the microphone and could not find the appropriate plugs. So I did some extra research. Guess whose laptop and desktop both lack the optional sound cards. If I had gotten the "preferred" version, I could have used a USB microphone. But of course, that was more expensive and there couldn't be that much difference... *headdesk* I love technology, don't you?
