Day of constant frustration
Oct. 26th, 2004 11:38 amNo good news on the job front. The new agency is still checking my info. Unfortunately the older agency before my current one went through several levels of changes since I left, making it that much hard to confirm when and where I worked. It's frustrating, but at least they're still upbeat about my chances.
I wish I could say the same about my Nano novel. As readers on
nanonano are seeing, I'm having a last minute crisis of faith on how to proceed. Don't you just love stories that just say "Um... no." at the 11th hour? So not wanted right now. Local Nanoers may hear about my woes at the kick-off party tonight, if I'm not drowning my sorrows in soy sauce.
Just let the apartment guy change the filters. Boy did they look awful when he pulled them out. I just wish I had had a little more warning about them coming. Technically they gave enough time, but the two top floors, including mine, were first up. If I had been working yesterday, I would have found it out when I came home.
And GIP from
taraljc for no reason, since I definitely don't feel "truly outrageous" today.
