Needlework update

So I take it we all survived the Second Annual LJ Blackout unscathed? At least this one felt less traumatic than the first time around. Or maybe it was because I was busy with non-computerish stuff so I didn't notice it as much. Oh well.

The WP's Express has added an online version with more local content. No help necessarily if you want a Net version to share of that article you just read, but maybe there's the assumption that you'd get that from the real paper.

I finally scanned my latest progress on Mirabilia's "Garden Verses" and posted it on cross_stitch. I also uploaded all the progress shots I have into my LJ galleries, so you can see how it has gone. And this is how the final version will look... someday.

RIP Louis Rukeyser. You were a fixture in my family household in your MPT days. We could always count on your pithy ways of commenting on business and the markets. And whenever the market had a bad week, it was "Oh, Louis must be on vacation..."
