DC, row your boat ashore

As if Ernesto wasn't bad enough on Friday, we were hit with yet more rain this morning. Anyone have a spare oar I can borrow? I swear I'm going to need to paddle myself home. As usual the DC streets can't handle the extra rain and the streets are turning into high puddles. I recall fondly my days in Alabama when I needed rainboots for days like this. Thank god I found a source for my New Balance, because both of my regular pairs of shoes are going to be soaked through by the time these storms are through with us.

Otherwise it was a pleasant enough long weekend. Plenty of tennis to keep my mind occupied among the laundry and cleaning. I've cleared off everything from the DVR except the Atlantis episodes I wanted to rewatch and a movie I taped while I was in Baltimore. I still need to finish typing up those notes and scan the photos from that trip. They didn't turn out nearly as well as the previous one alas.
