fanthropology: dedicated to the study of fandom. This used to be a mailing list with some fascinating cross pollinating of various fandoms and subsets.

Article from the International Herald Tribune about the discovery of a workshop that might have been used by Leonard Da Vinci in Florence. The Louvre is also making news in that they're allowing them to film "The Da Vinci Code" there.

The area is gearing up for a bigger wave of snow. It'll probably be a madhouse at the grocery store tonight. Ah, the call of the milk, bread and toilet paper run...
