I'm looking at clearing out some of my older VHS tapes. I need to catalogue them when I get home. Mostly it's movies, along with several of the Babylon 5 and Avengers box sets. Eventually I'd like to replace them with DVDs. What do people suggest for getting rid of them? Anyone even vaguely interested in a list of what I have?

Hrm. Ebay, perhaps. Or donate them to the library?

I might be interested in taking a look at what you got to get rid of.

Ebay is an idea. I'd wonder if the shipping would outweigh any benefits. I'll have to check to see if Fye takes VHS tapes. I know they do some used stuff.

I'd have to wait awhile to donate them to the library. They usually stop donations before and after a sale.

You're welcome to have a look. The only tapes I intend to keep a little longer are ones aren't commonly available in DVD.

You make the buyers pay for shipping on Ebay (usually). So don't fret about the shipping. Check around on Ebay and see what the various shows go for on there. It might be better to do them in lots.
