Interesting insight into actual events vs. fictional. I, too, just started the audios and am liking them far more than I expected. Although, being a bit compulsive, I'm listening to them in order of release.
As far as companions go, I like Charley quite a bit. She's a bit Mary Sue-ish but not annoyingly so and I find some of her observations of the Doctor's behavior amusing.
