Honestly, I wonder if it was subtly inserted canon. I mean she and Jean did live together...(I totally requested Liz/Jean in the DW femslash ficathon, but I'm not optimistic)

They were the Willow and Tara of 50s (or 60s?) Cambridge, yes. They even had a cat. Poor Puddles...
