I can't stand the snow.

Okay, this is getting a bit tiresome. If the big Presidents' Day monster storm wasn't bad enough, we were hit this week with yet more snow. A few inches accumulated from all day yesterday, moving my errands to today when I discovered the rest of the storm wouldn't hit until the night... during the CVS meeting. Then the snows started at about 4:30pm and have kept going. The area schools will be still going through July at this rate! Arlington and Fairfax are already putting in longer days into effect which must overjoy students and teachers alike.
Most of the hardy CVS people attempted a meeting, only to be informed at 6:45 or thereabouts that the bookstore would be closing at 8pm because of concerns for their employees. Most of us grumbled that we wouldn't have bothered showing up if we had known they would close that early. We did a few exercises nothing earth-shattering. I'm finally caught up on critiques. I do need to read the first part of Nancy Kress' "Dynamic Characters" for the next meeting which looks interesting. If I can tear myself away from "Freedom & Necessity" for a few days.
And I have achieved scarf. Yes, I am officially a Gryffindor... actually a fan of Bradford City Bantams football team which shares the same colors. By some irony, a Harry Potter played for the Bantams back in the 1900s.
RIP Mr. Rogers . I'll always miss the sound of the trolley heading for Make Believe.
