Good news
Finally some encouraging news from the job front. I have an interview on Monday for a temp-to-hire job with an association in Alexandria. Sounds like a standard library job with a bit more reference work than my usual. So hopefully my luck will be changing.
PicoNanoNano or PNN has started for our little writing group. The first day went badly. I wrote some and then completely scrapped the plan. Some of the blame can be placed on starting at midnight. So I spent the next day angsting over which project to work on. I came to a startling conclusion. For once I really didn't feel like writing fantasy. As much as I love the genre, my heart simply wasn't there at the moment. So where did I go? I retreated to my next oldest love -- comic books. Yes, I'm writing about superheroes. *shrug* To paraphrase what they used to say about comics, "at least she's writing".
