To quote Helene Hanff, "I write to say I have got work."
I gave the okay yesterday for the one temp job. Today my temp agency finally received word of the start date and details. I won't start until Monday which is good since I'll have to evaluate my wardrobe. I regressed into casual dress while I was at LC which will probably never work with this group. The hours stay hellish; the only thing that varies is my end time dependent on how long a lunch I take. The pay is pretty good, more than they originally quoted. I'll go in with an upbeat positive attitude. If it doesn't work out, well, that's the good side of temping.
But if I thought Law Reviews were boring, I haven't seen the half of it yet with Wall Street Journal and Barrons and Forbes... why can't I get *interesting* assignments like a nice arts library or a historical foundation?
