I keep hearing people, including Neil Gaiman, recommend Thea Gilmore's music. Unfortunately I can't seem to find any of her albums locally. But she's playing locally tonight at the Iota club in Arlington as part of the Harp Magazine Showcase with Anne McCue.

And in the maybe bad news for anime-on-tv lovers, Comcast bought Tech TV and they're merging into their existing G4 channel.

I heard about the sale on Friday while watching TechTV. It hadn't occured to me that they would cut out their anime programming block. Have you heard rumors somewhere?

The initial story I read this morning sounded pessimistic, certainly from the Tech TV end of things. But this one makes it sound like Anime Unleashed will survive the cut. Which is good. I do get G4 on my service, so I'd welcome more anime.
