DVR upgraded

hildy89The DVR finally received a useful upgrade overnight. The two major things included copying over to a VCR and being able to snag every first run episode of a series. Finally I can eliminate all the second or third showings of certain shows. Otherwise I'm manually clearing stuff out every day. Obviously it still lacks some of the benefits of the TIVO but for my uses, it works just fine.
I hate this weather. I wouldn't mind the rain if the humidity wasn't so bad.
Oh well, I will try to look on bright side that I actually should get paid tomorrow for my day at the reference desk. Should counterbalance the day I spent at the Georgetown Big Planet... I should find cheaper hobbies.
