I have nothing against the Cubs. I've rooted for them in the past. I even wrote a vampire story about the night games coming to Wrigley. But the Braves fan in me is heartbroken tonight.

Somewhere a certain character of mine is dancing on the North Side. Another one is swearing eternal damnation on umpires and fireball pitchers. It's always a bad sign when the pitcher is named Wood. Oh shut up Alix!
