normadesmond for alerting me about this new wrinkle in the war on television. Apparently they're trying choosing which shows are worthy of being closed captioned with the concern the programming might be too intense/violent/etc for hard of hearing viewers. What's next? Will you caption every other feature on the news shows so the deaf don't have to hear about the problems of the world?
