The doctor won't see you... yet

The allergist appointment wasn't to be, not today anyway. I came home yesterday to a zillion messages from the office trying to contact me, because I hadn't given them my cell phone number, something I should have done. Cell phones may be annoying, but being a temp usually means no daytime phone number you can reliably give out, so they're a godsend. So it has been rescheduled for Monday morning. On the one hand, it means more hours for this week and potentially money to spend at con. On the minus side, the paycheck from next week is going to be paltry.

I also had an odd message from my pharmacy saying I had a prescription filled that I hadn't picked up. The only prescription I'd tried to fill was the Allegra that I was having to see the doctor for... so I'm a little confused. Not that this is unusual I'm sure. Still confused.

Who needs Da Vinci Code when we have our unsolveable code down in Langley? The Elonka site provides a lot of related info and articles. They showed a smaller version of it on the CIA tour in Alias recently.

Recent dna evidence about the identity of Jack the Ripper as maybe a Jill provided some nostalgic amusement for a group of friends of mine. Once upon a time, five friends collaborated together on a time travel story involving a female Ripper who was also a vampire.
