"I hope they don't hang you, precious..."

So I hadn't planned to be buying stuff tonight at B&N. That's the danger of having the writing group meeting at a bookstore -- the shopping afterwards. But I bought another mystery and technically a research book for one of the retreat stories and "Maltese Falcon" on dvd. Wowses. I hadn't even known it was coming out. I looked at it and went "What could they possibly include on three dvds?" Besides the Bogart version, they've also included the other two movie adaptations of "Maltese Falcon", plus various trailers and documentaries and three radio adaptations. It'll be interesting to watch the BeBe Daniels version of "Falcon" since some think it's closer to the Hammett book than Huston's version.

However I left the X-3 dvd there. I'll Netflix that for later and see what the whole "alternate endings" mean. Probably depress me further.
