homekeeping, but thought better of it.
neadods has had some interesting posts on making decisions on VHS tapes. I'm planning a similar weed at some point. I already cataloged my list of dvds so I don't wind up buying something twice. I can donate the commercial VHS tapes to the library, if they're open for donations. They close those down before a library sale. Unless someone really wants old Babylon 5 (1st & 5th seasons mostly) or Avengers sets? But my bigger question is getting rid of the home taped VHS. As more season sets are released, I can eliminate some of my clutter easily. I've reused some of the tapes for the Another World collection I've started, but how do I deal with the others? Just discard in the trash? Are they recyclable in some fashion?
