From the Sunday New York Times Book Review: "A BOOK OF BOOKS. By Abelardo Morell. At least in a figurative sense, this book (not to be confused with ''The Book of 101 Books,'' which appeared last year) is a bibliophile's dream. The 52 well-reproduced photographs are paeans to the materiality of bookness, as imagined from every possible tangent -- books on shelves, books stacked in piles, book spines, book edges, book pages, open books, big books and small books."

The actual review showed a marvelous old photograph of two stacks of bound newspapers.

Ooh, that's a pretty cool book! I checked it out a couple of months ago but had to return it (darn 28-day limit). Book photos, all black and white, and book quotes. I need to check it out again sometime.
