hildy89In keeping with one of my stated writing goals for the year, I am submitting a story for critique to CVS. I finished that redo of the Cinderella fairy tale which I titled "Through the Glass Darkly", mostly because I couldn't think of another title. I'll be handing out the hard copies at the Thursday with critiques coming whenever. I've received decent interest/response to most of my writing exercises including a few "Wow" which are nice. So maybe this experience won't be too terrible. I'm not expecting miracles, just simply some feedback to point me in the right direction for the rewrite.
Today was a wonderful news/ not-so surprising news. The first part was pulling up The Leaky Cauldron this morning and discovering June 21st will be marked on my calendar. Now I need to go back and reread the books again. The not-so surprising news was that the Remember WENN musical has been postponed until April 2004 because they haven't had sufficient time to put the damn thing together. I'm grateful I didn't make any travel plans around the musical like some other eager fans. Chalk one up for experience or nagging gut feelings.
