Well at least it isn't strep

The test results came back negative on strep. It's some lovely virus, probably a stomach one. Oh joy oh rupture. I am feeling better however, which is a Good Thing. The less said about what this has done to my work schedule the better. I leave tomorrow for the writing retreat for a long weekend in the Shenandoah. I will be far from roughing it. I'm hoping Netflix comes through with an old Who dvd so I can research the
whofest story I should be finishing. This particular story prompt will be well timed with the start of the new season in the U.S. Not the way I planned that though.

Date: 2006-10-02 05:05 pm (UTC)The writing retreat went differently than I expected. Being frustrated by original fic, I took down some of my fannish ideas, only to get pinged by two older stories I want to finish. So it was successful, just not in the way I anticipated.
As for Doctor Who, the only thing I have, besides the DVD Netflix sent me, are the season one dvds for Chris Eccleston's Doctor. (Technically he's the ninth doctor and it's more like season 27 including all the other previous incarnations, but BBC calls it season one.) This was the season that just completed on Scifi channel. They just started the second season with David Tennant. My dvr screwed it up while I was gone, of course. From what I've seen, it's a good starter season for new people. And MPT shows some of the other Doctors at 1am or something on Saturday.
