Music CD settlement

My mother forwarded this information to me. Apparently there is a lawsuit against the music industry for price fixing. The claims are applicable to anyone who has bought prerecorded music from a retailer from 1995-2000. No proofs of purchase are necessary. The deadline is March 3.

I will add a caveat. I have been looking at the website, especially that "notice of settlement". There are two settlement groups, so check where your state falls in that category. I'm not sure how/if that affects potential claims, but it's something to watch out for.
