Now I'm suitably ticked off...

I love my cable company. Comcast picked a lovely time to "reorganize" the channels on our cable system. Deciding things would be so much easier if they were all grouped together, they've reordered the cable channels completely. So now I can't find anything! Other than the basic stuff which hasn't changed. I used to know at a drop of a hat where the channels were but now I have to hunt. I will have to hunt down a list somewhere to have by the television remote. Really irritating is the effect it had on my preset recordings for the DVR. Usually they were set by show and channel. When they changed them, suddenly I had weird things cropping up on the list. I missed the new "X-men: Evolution" episode because of the changeover because WB50 is now like channel 3 instead of channel 50! I've had to go back in and readd several programs because of this. I'm sure they sent me a notice telling me the news with a nice listing of the channels changed, but I can't find it!

At least there's preseason football tonight. I will revert to my sports geek girl mode...

Ugh. Tell me about evil cable companies. The abominable "Dark House" Networks (actually Bright House, formerly Time Warner) keeps upping their non-digital service prices without adding anything, and they're obsessed with Hispanic channels and "women's" networks. AAARGH! The legal mooks who persecuted Microsoft for their "monopoly" should be looking at power-mad cable providers instead.

Football... grr. They pre-empted "Whose Line" last night for that. Now that my jock cousin has graduated, the only football I want to see is the Bucs at the Super Bowl again.

yeah! I called Comcast customer service once and they treated me like an idoit - was not impressed. Especially since I was reporting that they had been sending me services without charging me - I was being honest people! *sigh*
