Oh dear god. Are we going to destroy one of the curses this year? Cubs-Red Sox World Series anyone?
Pretty boys in clerical collars. The consensus seems to be May. Why, yes, I am going to that fiery place with a Chanel handbag, why do you ask?
I successfully burned my first cd tonight. Given the headaches I'd heard about Roxio, I expected disaster right from the start. As it was, the troubles came for the second cd and seems centered around one solitary track. It seems to play fine on a regular Winamp, but when I preview or attempt to burn it in Roxio, it does a "We have experienced a fatal error and need to go lie down now". I've tried redownloading that track, but it has the same problem in each incarnation. Sounds to me like there was something wrong with the encoding/ripping/whatever of that track. I may just simply leave that one off unless I can find an alternative source. Anyone with cd burning experience encountered this before?

Date: 2003-10-07 07:53 am (UTC)Don't worry--in the US, it's actually rather hard to find priests under 40. Definitely a cultural thing--I think the Atari and Nintendo and PS2 generations are too busy listening to pop culture to hear the call of a higher spiritual power. From the calendar, it looks like Italy doesn't have as much of that problem.

Now I just have to convince myself that, no, I don't actually need to *buy* the thing, I'll be fine if I just sit there staring at pretty pictures on my computer, really I will...
