I went into my local BDaltons today and the manga section had changed radically. Well, not in the perfectly organized corner of my dreams, but they had reorganized a bit. Usually manga and graphic novels take up a large chunk of one bookcase until you hit the general humor books. On the back of that case is usually business. Except that the first two shelves were the smaller Tokyopop editions. Maybe they had finally decided to combine everything, so I went around the corner. The larger size Viz editions had taken over the top two shelves, mostly from the new shojo line. I recognized a few titles, but mostly were unfamiliar. They all appeared unflipped.
I'm now in countdown mode for WFC, watching the clock with the "Can I go yet?" At least the weather is looking good for this weekend. The rest of the town can worry about the Dallas game, we'll worry about the dark scary stuff. Oh right, that is the Dallas game.
