Hilary Booth... of course!

So finally got around to watch the first three episodes of "House", FOX's new show. Bryan Singer is listed as both one of the Executive Producers and directed the pilot. The interior shots of the patients' innards were interesting and unexpected. Definitely not what I've come to expect from ER and the other medical dramas. However I discovered I had a squick factor during the first episode when they're cutting open someone's throat. Sorry, no, I really need to see that! Fortunately I can fast forward through the squicky bits if further ones happen. Robert Sean Leonard still looks good after "Dead Poets Society" and "Much Ado About Nothing". Hugh Laurie's Dr. House is a trip, although I can understand why Dr. Cuddy wants to throttle him on general principle. I really don't like the other female doctor Dr. Cameron. I'm sure she has some traumatic past that'll make everyone angst and go "Aw" over her. Meh.

I cashed in some of my Replay rewards certificates so I could get ROTK Extended Edition and the last DVD for Last Exile. I don't know when I'll actually get a chance to watch them though, since I'm determined to clean off the DVR before I leave for Florida.

And it's unofficially winter here. Those balmy days of 50 degree weather has yielded to 30s. Brrr.
