My ankle is flaring up again. I suspect my choice of shoes hasn't helped me lately. But this job is even anal about casual footwear than the last one. Such is life.

WHR on Cartoon Network has gone beyond the third available DVD. The fourth won't be available until April! And the main community witchhuntrrobin is of course talking without spoiler protection, assuming you stayed up until midnight to watch. Or already seen a fansubbed or Japanese version. *sigh* I have actually not gone looking for spoilers for this or "Last Exile" and have been pretty satisfied going in blind. (Time to adjust the custom friends lists again...)

Talking Shojo with Viz: Interview with Erik Jansen from Viz on the popularity of shojo titles and their appeal to women.

I broke down and bought a subscription to Afternoon for the new Hoshi no Koe manga. The first issue will arrive tomorrow from Animenation. I have seen some sample pages from the series, which stays fairly close to the original version. I'll be interested to see how this develops and how long the story runs. The anime was under a half an hour.
