cover is any indication, I'll be quite happy with the "Serenity" graphic novel. Of course, comics are notorious for using one cover artist and a different interior one. According to Newsarama
here, Dark Horse is publishing a three issue prequel, with the first issue out in July.

Date: 2005-02-18 02:37 pm (UTC)Dark Horse in particular almost always does. Which makes a certain amount of sense -- unless you're, say, Marvel or DC using Alex Ross for a special or miniseries, the fully-painted photoreal thing throughout is just too time-consuming to be cost-effective.
That said, most of DH's stable are very good, or were the last time I looked. They've done a pretty consistently bang-up job on Buffy.
